Q. How do I keep the full tracking console open when I leave the site?

If you sign-out the system will automatically close the tracking window as well. To keep it open, don''t sign-out - you may still close the main browser page or visit other sites.

Q. What happens to my job once I input the details?

Your job details appear on our live operations screen. One of our team of despatchers will assign it to the driver who is best located, and has the appropriate vehicle type to complete your request.

Q. How much will my job cost?

The cost of your job will depend on the service level, vehicle required, and the distance between pick-up and delivery. Click on Quick Quote, enter some brief details and you can see online what your job is going to cost.

Q. What will I be charged if a flat top picks up my job when I booked a bike?

You are only charged for the size of vehicle that is required to perform your job.

Q. What happens if the Internet connection is down?

If the connection goes down after your job booking has been accepted, the job will proceed to delivery in the normal way. Unfortunately you would not be able to track your job until the Internet connection is re-established. If you have a query on your job when the connection is down you would need to ring us on 9427 4777.

Q. If I disconnect from the Internet, can I still track jobs when I log back on?

Yes, as soon as you sign back into mercuryonline, the current status of all your jobs for the day will be shown on the Tracking Console.

Q. What are Mercury''s operating hours?

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Real time bookings through the Internet may only be booked between 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Q. Are my booking details secure? Can anyone else access them?

Yes your details are completely secure. Only our professional team of operators can access your details, and the job is sent via a computer signal to the driver assigned to your delivery.

Yes, if you are signed in you can review, search and sort full details of old jobs by clicking on Job Log.

Q. What if there is no one at the delivery point to accept the goods?

We shall contact you and advise where the goods may be left, it is then your decision to authorise Mercury to leave the goods safe or return goods back to you the client?
